Glenlivet is a worldwide known and iconic single malt whisky. With over nine million liters sold a year The Glenlivet is one of the best-selling producers of single malt in the world.
Glenrothes Whisky Distillery
Since 1879 the small Speyside town of Rothes has been home to The Glenrothes – a single malt distillery recognized for its craft and for its immaculate and unchanging whisky. Glenrothes is equally recognized for the very distinct and aesthetic clear, rounded bottles adorned with colorful labels.
The Jura Distillery
Off the Scottish west coast, in the Inner Hebrides, is a remote island with the name Jura. The island is small with about two hundred people living there, and it’s to this day quite the hassle to get there. It was equally quite problematic to transport the tall stills to the island – Jura is actually home to some of the tallest island stills.
The Lagavulin Distillery
On the Isle of Islay is the Lagavulin Bay from which the Lagavulin quite obviously has its name. The distillery is as close to the water as possible, and adhering to the Islay ways Lagavulin produces smoky, peaty single malt whiskies of great quality.

Macallan is one of the most famous, and reputed whiskey brands that are always held in high esteem. It’s one of the best-selling distilleries in the world, selling more than 700,000 bottles a year. The distillery produces both entry-level scotch and the most coveted bottles. On average, the cost per bottle varies from 50 to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The Yamazaki Distillery
Yamazaki single malt whisky is Japan’s premier single malt, and Yamazaki whisky recognized by and renowned for a many-layered taste and an aromatic experience characterized by fruit and Mizunara. Yamazaki Whisky first hit the market in 1984, however, the Yamazaki Distillery is the first and thus oldest malt distillery with its establishment in 1923.
